This cover is so sturdy that UnderCover rates it to withstand up to 400 Pound of cargo evenly distributed on top. Aesthetically, the UnderCover Armor Flex Tonneau Cover is sleek and stylish. This cover features a low-profile design that sits nearly flush with the bed rails, essentially disappearing into the bed when closed. The outer panels feature a classic, textured black finish, guarding the aluminum and providing a finished appearance that perfectly complements your pickup’s existing texture black trim. Weather resistance is another key feature of a premium tonneau cover and the UnderCover Armor Flex fares well in this category, too. Using a combination of durable EPDM rubber seals and integrated drain tubes, this tonneau cover keeps excessive moisture where it belongs: outside of the bed. The rear tailgate seal features a convenient dual-function design, allowing you to open and close the tailgate without unlatching the cover; additionally, you can close the cover no matter the orientation of the tailgate. Operating the cover is quick and easy; simply drop the tailgate and pull the latch release cables at either side of the bed. Then, fold the cover toward the bulkhead, releasing the additional latches as you go, until the cover protects only 1/3 of the bed. You can either secure the cover in this position or flip the cover one additional time against the tailgate for full bed access, using the integrated prop rods to secure the tonneau cover upright.
